Social Skills
At The Centre for Dreams, we focus on everyone’s strengths and what their skills and interests are. We provide opportunities for people to learn about themselves, explore their strengths and challenges, develop interpersonal communication skills, employability skills and build relationships with others.
Many of us like to spend time in our local communities. Whether we’re shopping, playing sports or just going for a walk, participating in the community shapes the way we live our life. We encourage our members to become productive and dignified members of their community.
The simple act of introducing them to the concepts of common courtesy, good manners, and how to act as a friend does more than just make them well-rounded—it gives them the opportunity to make friends, develop a healthy social network, and enjoy a more rewarding life.
