What is it?
DreamWorx Employment Readiness is a Vocational Skills Program where participants will develop practical workplace, communication, and life skills that support greater independence and successful participation in community employment settings. Through weekly classroom instruction, hands-on learning, role-playing activities, and visits to local businesses, participants will build confidence, explore different types of employment, and gain firsthand exposure to a variety of workplace environments.

This program is well-suited for individuals who:

Are beginning to explore employment opportunities.

Are interested in working in the community but may need support to get started.

Would benefit from learning basic workplace expectations and routines.

Want to build confidence before entering a paid or volunteer work setting.

Need practice with communication, teamwork, and problem-solving at work.

Are interested in gaining hands-on experience in settings such as retail, restaurants, or grocery stores.

Would benefit from a structured, supportive learning environment.

Are ready to learn about responsibility, independence, and workplace behaviour.

May not have previous work experience but are motivated to develop employment skills.
